Here's how it works: For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate estimated shipping emissions. Based on these estimates, a portion of our proceeds goes to companies vetted by scientists at Carbon Direct . These companies use the money to remove as much carbon as was created by our shipments. Any extra funds go towards further developing carbon removal technologies.
